Over the last 5 months dancers from across South Wales area have been taking part in the RSCDS SW branch skills development course.
Together they have worked very hard on polishing footwork, thinking about posture and extending their knowledge and technique in transition between steps.
27 formations have been reviewed, and dancers have then developed the skills required to execute elegant transitions between these formations.
All of this has enabled dancers to demonstrate their improved techniques and to complete dances with improved accuracy.

Dancers have fed back that they have learned a great deal from these classes. Beginners now feel much more confident and more experienced dancers have reported that they have welcomed the chance to polish their technique.
All participants are to be congratulated on their participation in this course and the commitment they have shown throughout.
With hands at shoulder height, elbows down, eyes and heads up, and not forgetting our biggest smiles, the dancing continues for one more class in June.

Happy dancing to all. Alison Littlejohn - Teacher
