CHRIS’S MEMORIAL CEILIDH

COME ALONG AND HAVE FUN DANCING

This is an evening of ceilidh dancing (a bit like barn dancing) to recorded music, to be held in memory of Chris Faragher Downes, who loved Scottish Country Dancing and ceilidh dancing. All dances will be called, so no prior knowledge is required. No need for a partner. Wear soft shoes (flat shoes, please – no heels) and comfortable clothes. Wear a bit of tartan if you have any!

Please bring a plate of finger food to share.

We will provide hot drinks – please bring your own mug.

Please don’t attend if you feel at all unwell and/or might pass on flu or Covid or any other nasty virus.

 

​DIRECTIONS: The Church of the Resurrection (“the Res”) is on Grand Avenue, in Ely, Cardiff. The entrance to the Church Hall, which is just beside the Church, is round the corner on Ty Coch Rd. On-street parking generally available, but this may be limited. If driving, try to car-share if possible.
