At Cardiff Caledonian Society the “Monday Night Dancers” fly the flag for those in south-east Wales with Scottish connections and an interest in things Scottish.

We are a friendly group of dancers, all having some knowledge of Scottish Country Dancing, and meeting weekly to enjoy social dancing of old favourites and new dances.
Our members lead the evenings, dances are recapped and walked through once or twice. Monday evenings are social dancing with no teaching classes.
Beginners and new to dancing
Our evenings are all social dancing so we don't run teaching classes.
Cardiff Whitchurch Tuesday Class welcomes and teaches beginners.
Once dancers have had tuition and some experience of social dancing we’re delighted for them to come along on a Monday as well. But do talk to Conor first!
We welcome dancers and visitors who have danced elsewhere and who are keen to see what we do and to join in, even if just for one evening.
Our group is affiliated to the RSCDS and we take part in lots of the South Wales Branch activities including going out into the community to put on dance demonstrations.
Along with the dancing we also have one member who specialises in recitations of Burns poems. We can put on a good show for Burns Night around the 25th of January!
